Aaron Coulthard, M.OMSc
Aaron has a firm hands-on style that includes deep point pressure and long fascial stretches. He has a bio-mechanical approach that includes muscle strength testing to determine which muscle or tissue is at the root of the problem. Aaron works with a wide variety of physical dysfunction, most commonly low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, chronic tension headaches, difficulties breathing, foot and heel pain, and knee issues. He prefers to work with adults, athletes and children over the age of 10.
Verity Dokter, M.OMSc
Verity works in a way that calms the nervous system while making structural changes to the body. Sometimes the area where we feel pain is just a result of another area not working as it should, so it’s important that we check how all the parts of the body are moving and working together. There are many Osteopathic tools that can be utilized, and those vary based on what it is the body needs and how it responds to treatment.
Osteopathy can include craniosacral work as well as visceral work, depending on what is needed at the time. Visceral work includes manipulation of the abdominal viscera and fascia, while craniosacral work is generally done on the cranium and/or sacrum but can include other areas too.
Taylor Burch, M.OMSc
Taylor’s style of treatment is classical osteopathy. She is very gentle in her approach, as she appeals to the nervous system to make effective and lasting changes. Taylor does not simply look at the main area of complaint and apply treatment. Instead, she uses her understanding of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics to search for the WHY (it is there in the first place).
