Did you know that Sprout Wellness offers Annual Wellness Check-Ups, Lab Tests and other targeted programs?
At Sprout, we are always focused on your optimal health, and that includes prevention. This means that if you are feeling well, we want to keep you that way instead of waiting for a problem to arise over time.
With September around the corner, this is often a “new year” kind of time. From goal setting, to meal planning, nutrient testing, hormone balancing or mood support – these are all optimal wellness goals that we love seeing patients for. We offer a number of programs – including tests and educational handouts – to support your ongoing health.
Sprout Wellness recommends annual lab testing in order to best assess your ongoing wellbeing.
Lab testing is often capable of finding imbalances before symptoms present, making it an invaluable tool for preventative medicine. Here are a few recommended LifeLabs panels that are offered through our Naturopaths:
- Annual Wellness Panel: This comprehensive panel covers your blood sugars, cholesterol, inflammatory markers, liver function, thyroid health, kidney function and vitamin status (Vitamin D, B12 and folate). It is recommended to be completed every 12 months so that you can compare year-to-year and adjust accordingly.
- Nutrient Status Panel: Vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, E and Folate can give a general snapshot into your current nutritional status and act as a comparison before/after dietary and nutritional interventions.
- Fatigue Panel: This lab panel includes a thyroid screen, vitamin B12, iron tests, and other common markers that may give insight into why your energy levels are low.
Our Homeopath, Andrea Hauser, also offers testing that can be used to optimize your nutrition plan, wellness goals, and overall wellbeing:
- On-site Live Blood Cell Analysis: is a measurement of nutritional status, immune function, digestive health, and toxicity profile
- On-site Koenisburg (Adrenal) Test: is a useful test for evaluating adrenal function for individuals heavily affected by ongoing stressors
