Heather is a fourth year intern at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto and is thrilled to be joining Sprout Wellness for her final semester of the naturopathic medical program.
Heather has always had a strong belief in the body’s innate ability to thrive when given the healthy environment in which to do so. She always knew that she wanted to help others find health and wellness, but it was not until becoming ill herself that she found Naturopathic Medicine and all that it had to offer.After studying Biology and Spanish at Drury University in Missouri, Heather relocated to Toronto and enrolled in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Heather is able to treat many conditions and has a particular interest in women’s health, including the areas of fertility, natural family planning, and maternal health.
Outside of her clinical rotations, Heather can be found spending time with her husband and their two chocolate labs. She loves cooking, playing music, practicing yoga, practicing her faith, and enjoying time with her family.

From Jan – April 2016, Heather Ciochon will be available in the clinic for appointments.
As part of the Naturopathic program, all ND students dedicate their last year to clinical work. This valuable experience is one of many pieces that make Naturopaths strong, competent doctors on graduation.
With patient permission, Heather will be shadowing patient visits on Thursdays. As well, under Dr Chanel ND’s supervision, she will be accepting her own patients Thursdays from 9-6.
