Dear patients of Sprout Wellness Clinic,
Thank you so much for your support this past year – what a wild ride it’s been!
With the latest news of Ontario entering a lockdown, we would like to update you on the following changes at Sprout for Jan 2021:
- Osteopathic appointments cancelled during lockdown
- Naturopathic, RMT, and Homeopathic appointments continue – see details below
- Product pickup – available curb-side OR at front desk
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and we hope to continue to offer care, as best as we can, during this stressful time. We know it’s not ideal to have changes to your treatment schedule/plans and appreciate your patience as to navigate these changing times.
Appointment Changes During Grey-Zone
Osteopathic Appointments:
Unfortunately, during this lockdown, all osteopathic appointments will be cancelled. All currently booked appointments will be automatically cancelled and we will send you a reminder email to book in 1 month, assuming restrictions are lifted at that time. Once we have further information regarding the lifting of restrictions, we will work to contact patients and book accordingly. We hope to be open again as of Monday, January 25 2021.
Please note that for 2021 we welcome a second Osteopath, Victoria Fik to our team. Once it is safe to resume visits, we hope her additional hours will meet your care needs quickly and effectively. For more details about her, please click here.
Naturopathic Appointments:
All virtual and in-person visits, including IV therapy, continue for Naturopathic patients.
Where appropriate, we are encouraging patients to choose virtual appointments to limit contact while ensuring we continue to offer excellent care.
Homeopathic and Live Blood Cell Appointments:
Only essential in-person visits will continue. All currently booked appointments will become virtual appointments with the exception of Live Blood Cell (LBC) analysis. For all currently booked LBC, these appointments will be shifted to two visits:
- Part 1 (15 min, in person) – this visit will consistent of a blood draw only
- Part 2 (45 min, virtual/phone) – this visit will involve a review of findings, regarding your blood sample. Pictures of your LBC analysis will be available online for discussion during this virtual consult.
Massage Appointments:
All massage therapy appointments will resume as scheduled. We are grateful to be able to continue offering this therapy.
Counselling Appointments:
All counselling appointments will continue to be offered virtually. Any currently scheduled, in person appointments, will be shifted to virtual appointments until further notice.

We get it. As we enter into the winter months and go into a second lockdown, this isn’t what anyone would have hoped for, but at Sprout, we are with you and here to support you (however that may look).
This has been an incredibly challenging year and unfortunately we aren’t fully through it yet, but there is hope! Hope that 2021 will bring more certainty, safety, and optimism for us all. Despite the hardships, I remain optimistic that we will look back on this time as a unique moment in history where we, as a collective, sacrificed for the common good and saw change.
Take care of yourselves, your friends, and your families this holiday season.
In Health,
Dr Chanel Cressman, ND
